Minister of Mines and Petroleum Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Fine Star Group and Azra Green Stone Companies

Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mr. Hedayatullah Badri, on Wednesday, October 1, 2026, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with representatives of Fine Star Group and Azra Green Stone Mining and Processing Companies to invest in the relocation and installation of a standard lead and zinc processing plant.
During the signing ceremony, the Minister of Mines and Petroleum said that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum is ready to provide necessary facilities to all investors in the areas of mineral extraction and processing, as well as the establishment of related plants.
He further added that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum supports the private sector in mineral processing and expanding investment in this sector.
For their part, representatives of the companies expressed their assurance regarding the implementation of the commitments made under the Memorandum of Understanding.
