Ministry of Mines and Petroleum Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Timor Sana Company
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of geological surveying and mineral exploration was signed on Monday, 27 July 2026, between the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and Timor Sana Company.
The MoU was signed by Eng. Abdullah Haidari, General Director of Survey and Exploration of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, and Mr. Akram Qalandarov, President of Timor Sana Company, in the presence of Ministry’s officials and members of the Company's delegation.
The General Director of Survey and Exploration described the signing of the MoU as a significant and valuable step toward strengthening the country's geological survey and mineral exploration activities. He noted that the MoU consists of nine articles and shall remain in force for one year, during which exploration activities on metallic mines will be carried out in accordance with the plans determined by the mentioned Company.
At the end, he expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the MoU and emphasized the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum's full cooperation and coordination to ensure its implementation.
