Public Awareness Program for Civil Society Members

A public awareness program (Outreach) conducted for civil society members in western zone – Herat province. The outreach took place from 11th July 2021 to 14th July 2021. The outreach sessions covered significant topics such as, AEITI orientation presentation, EITI requirements, the current situation of mines in Herat province, community based agreement and environmental impacts, gender, role of women in the extractive/mining sector, transparency portal and its benefits.

This outreach was conducted by AEITI national secretariat, elected members of the civil society constituencies, gender, RDF office and directorate of mines of Herat province by the financial support of GIZ.
