The second consultative meeting was held between the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and the Chamber of Industries and Mines, in order to take benefits of the available opportunities in the extractive industries sector and solve existing problems.

The meeting discussed in detail the obstacles, problems and challenges facing investors and the opportunities available in Afghanistan's mining sector.

Mohammad Haroon Chakhansuri, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum said, "In order to solve the obstacles, problems, and challenges facing investors, the problems in each cluster and proposal should be arranged and present at the next meeting."

And he added, "In order to develop the economy and create mobility and transparency in the sector, we will find a legal solution for the extracted minerals."
