Minister of Mines and Petroleum Meets with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan

Minister of Mines and Petroleum Mr. Hedayatullah Badri, met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Jamshid Khodjaev, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, both sides held comprehensive discussions on the implementation of the exploration agreement for the Kundalan Copper Mine, the implementation of the Toti Maidan Gas Project contract, investment opportunities for Uzbekistan's state-owned companies in Afghanistan's mining sector, and the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation in the field of mining.
Furthermore, the meeting reviewed the progress of the implementation of previously concluded bilateral agreements. Both sides emphasized the importance of further expanding investment in Afghanistan's mining sector and strengthening joint economic cooperation between the two countries.
