Objective: To provide technical and professional support in the field of mineral exploration for the identification ,analysis, and assessment of Afghanistan s mineral resources. The position includes offering technical advice , analyzing exploration data ,collaborating with the Director of Exploration and related departments to develop reports and plans, and improving staff Capacity by training them in modern software tools.
Detailed duties and responsibilities:

Prepare monthly ,quarterly and annual work plans in line with departmental strategy.

Collect, analyze, and interpret geological and geochemical data using existing records.

Assist in the preparation of geological maps and detailed reports in accordance with international standards.

Work with field teams and geologists to train and apply specialized software for mineral resources reserve estimation and assessments.

Evaluate mineral resources using Data mine, Surger ArcGIS, Surpac, Micromine, and other exploration software.

Provide technical advice to prioritize exploration projects.

Represent the Directorate in committee meetings.

Assist in the development of a comprehensive mineral resources database.

Review and evaluate exploration proposals and reports.

Prepare regular monthly, quarterly and annual technical reports and monitoring checklist.
Qualification and Requirement:

Minimum Master’s degree in Mineral Exploration (higher education is preferred.

At least 5 years of relevant experience for Master & 7 year for bachelor, relevant experience in mineral resource exploration.

Advanced proficiency in Datamine ,Micro mine, ArcGIS, Surfer ,Surpac and related tools.

Ability to work in field, office and under difficult natural conditions.

Strong skills in technical reports writing.

Fluency in the official languages of the country and strong command of English.

Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite.
