New Ministers of the cabinet of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan took the oath of office

Ministers of The Cabinet of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, that had recently received votes of confidence from Wolasi Jirga (Parliament), took the oath of offices in the presence of His Excellence, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Thursday.

The ceremony was held at Salaamkhana Palace, as it was also attended by the First Lady, First Vice President Amrullah Saleh and Second Vice President Ustad Sarwar Danish.

Dr. Fazal Mahmood Fazli, General Director of the President Affairs, meanwhile congratulating the Ministers, said that the Administrative Office of the President Affairs is committed to work closely to coordinate and make Agenda, Content and Cabinet’s meetings of the High Councils more efficient and effective.

After the oath of Ministers, H.E President Ghani, Meanwhile congratulating to the Ministers, thanked from the members of Wolasi Jirga for giving votes of confidence and wish them success in their assigned responsibilities. People wait to see the strengthen Islamic Republic of Afghanistan by your powerful energy, organized-think and clean hands, He added.

President said, “My request from you is very simple and that is the implementation of the country’s constitution. Constitution is the law of principles and a national document, so the more we implement the more trust of the people we would gain and that will surely improve the legitimacy of the system at the regional and international levels.”
