Minister of Mines and Petroleum Visits Oil Survey Site in Balkh Province

The Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mr. Hedayatullah Badri, during his visit to Balkh Province, inspected the oil survey site in the Mohammad Jan field.
The survey is being conducted free of charge by an Uzbek geological company, Uzbek Overseas Geological Company, which has so far completed 65 kilometers of survey work in the Mohammad Jan field. It is planned that survey operations in the Shamar and Abad blocks will commence in the near future.
The Minister of Mines and Petroleum talked with the officials of the company regarding the acceleration, effectiveness, and quality of the ongoing activities, and gave them necessary guidance.
