Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate required to perform the following:
- Providing legal input and lead in preparation of hydrocarbons sector masterplan.
- Provide Legal input in hydrocarbons contracts and related matters.
- Contributing the international expert in the area in carry out an analysis of the overarching laws and regulations relating to hydrocarbons in Afghanistan
- Contribute towards the Information’s, Memorandum, Lease, Transaction Principles, Policy Document etc.
- Prepare Terms of Reference for additional consulting assignments and technical studies related to the legal and regulatory reform to be executed under the oil and gas projects.
- Contribute in legal contracts and transaction document reflecting the spirit of the Government Policy.
- Work together with international counterpart in Supporting MOMP management in legal matters related to hydrocarbons development.
- Drafting and translating oil and gas Contracts.
- Any other duty assigns by the upper management.
Minimum Requirements:
The Candidate must hold at least Bachelor level degree in Oil and Gas law or relevant and possess solid experience in energy sector especially hydrocarbons.
Minimum of five years of proven experience in oil and gas field (Law).
Experience in solving issues related to energy contracts.
English language fluency with the capability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
