Preparation of hydrocarbons regulation will complete the legal framework of the sector
Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Muhammad Haroon Chakhansori met with the World Bank representatives via video conference and discussed the Hydro-carbons regulation.
In addition to the regulation, the meeting discussed the development of hydrocarbon sector and acceleration of projects.
By finalizing the hydrocarbons regulation, grounds will be paved for investment and proper management of the projects.
It is noteworthy to mention that, by preparing hydrocarbons (oil and gas) regulation, the legal framework will be completed and the Afghan government’s commitment in the Geneva conference, with the World Bank and in the National Strategy for Combating Corruption will be implemented.
