The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum participated in the Fifth National and International Industry and Mining Week Exhibition by establishing an exhibition booth aimed at showcasing Afghanistan’s precious, semi-precious, industrial, and decorative stones. The Ministry also shared information about the mineral bidding process, investment opportunities in the extractive industries sector, the requirements for obtaining mining contracts, and other mineral products of the country.
The establishment of the Ministry’s booth was intended to strengthen cooperation among various sectors, promote domestic products, encourage both local and international investors to invest in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, and raise public awareness regarding the prevention of smuggling and illegal mining activities.
During the exhibition, a wide range of mineral stones, together with the achievements of Afghanistan’s mining sector, were displayed. Representatives of the Ministry shared comprehensive information about investment opportunities, mining contract procedures, and the Ministry’s ongoing activities with the visitors.
Throughout the exhibition, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum’s booth welcomed hundreds of visitors each day and received significant interest from the public, investors, representatives of the private sector, and local institutions.
